Life is Busy

Between school, church, soccer practice, three online classes, and unlocking new characters to feed my sons Mario Kart addiction things have been pretty busy. I have been trying without success to go to bed earlier but it doesn't seem to be happening. Jami with her two monster callings at church tends to be busy at nights as much if not more then I am. Dallin really is addicted to the wii but we are getting it under control. The problem is that he really is pretty good. I changed all the levels he likes to play to hard and made the computer players very aggressive. In turn he is not winning everything like he used to and it is not quite as fun. I can't decide if I am a good dad or just a mean dad but he is beginning to realize that life goes beyond video games. We don't play every day and when he does play it is usually an hour or less. I remember my mom taking away my controllers so I must have had some of the same issues. Why do they have to make the games so darn fun. Track starts in a couple weeks and it is beginning to get a little hectic preparing. No matter what you do there always seems to be something you forget to do.

Last night we went to El Rico with Steph and Brad to eat. On Mondays they have buy one adult meal get two kids meals free. The Greers like their food so much I decided to modify their logo a bit.

It is my background at school and the football players think it is pretty cool. It took them a couple days to figure out who it was.

Dallin and I got to help the Reynold move on Saturday. I was pretty impressed as Dallin worked the whole time. He would take an occasional break riding up and down on the hydraulic lift while sitting on the couches. He thought this was the coolest thing ever. He was reward by getting to create his own slushy at Circle K. He also scored his first goal which was fun to watch. He is starting to figure out this whole soccer thing. McKade and Tyli seem to be playing much rougher. Tyli has perfected her sneak attack and is just heavy enought that McKade has a hard time getting up. Her two year old sneakness is being refined day by day. It is always an adventure.

good to know we could feed Dallin's addiction a little with some mario kart wii over at my parents' place of Thanksgiving break :) Also, good job on the new header!
