A Saturday Adventure

Because our weeks have been so busy we decided to make Saturday more of an adventure for the kids. We woke up and did our cleaning(of course) then we decided to go out for lunch. On the corner of Ellworth and Ocotillo their is an old restaurant called Rudy's. It has been there forever. They actually have really good bean and shredded beef burritos so we decided to try it out. The boys felt very special as they got their own very big glass of water. McKade loved the chips. Both of our boys have fallen in love with chips and salsa. From Ruby's we headed down to Target. Dallin's toes are growing out of his shoes. Against Jami's will he got a pair of transformer light up shoes (you shouldn't take me shoe shopping) and a pair of church shoes a size big so they will last, hopefully, a long time. Tyli also enjoyed shoe shopping. I don't know if she wants to wear or eat the shoes either way she had fun. As we were leaving Jami walked by the $2.oo section and saw a little baby. She showed Tyli to see what she would do and Tyli started squealing with delight. She would not put the baby down and held in her arms for the next 45 minutes. Dallin later got a hold of it and turned it into super baby with lasers. Finally we headed to Petsmart to get some more fish. Two of the five had died(one was sucked up the filter tube, and the other we think had a parasite) so we needed some more fish. We got three of the same kind and they are called the three amigos. The big one is called gigantor, then spot, and Dallin named the third one Rosh? We also got two snails Cheesy and Fuzzy. Jami named the snails. The kids are still loving the fish. A former student who says I yelled at her at the powder puff game last year gave us a 15% employee discount. We saved a $1.96. To finish off the day we pulled weeds as the kids still think it is fun and then watched some football. It was a fun day.
