Having fun in the Hot Pots

In the 11 days we have spent in Idaho we have had a lot of fun visiting family, seeing Santa, watching football and movies, and learning that Dallin has decided to change his name to Allin. We don't know how come but for some reason he decided to drop the D and go with Allin. For four days or more he corrected everybody on what his name was. All the cousins even grandma started to call him Allin. He even received a Christmas present addressed to Allin. We talked to him and he agreed that when we get back in the car to go to AZ his name will change back to Dallin again.
On New Years Eve Jeni volunteered to watch the kids and we were able to go to
Lava Hot Springs
If you have not heard of them, it is a facility that has multiple pools. Each pool has a little different temperature. I can only sit in the upper pool for about 5 minutes then I have to get out before I am cooked. It was about 19 degrees outside but the water ranges from 104 to 112. They have also recently torn down the old locker rooms and built new ones that have the hot water running under the floor keeping it warm. Much better then the previous locker rooms that would have ice on the floor as you put your swim suit on.
It was the first time that we have ever gone during the day. Jeni (Jami's twin sister) and Luke only live around 5 miles away and go to the hot pools quite often. It is no wonder that about every other person gave us funny looks wondering why "Jeni" was hanging out with this other guy. She might have to answer some interesting questions at church on Sunday.
We have had lots of fun but we look forward to sleeping in our own beds and playing outside in weather that is above freezing.

I've been to Lava Hot Springs before. I guess when I was a little kid my parents took me to Lava, but I was too little to remember. So I guess it could have just been a lie. Maybe I haven't even gone there. Yea, I've probably have never been.
