To add to Jami's post "Adventures"

Well Jami pretty much covered everything that I am going to talk about in her blog I just thought I would add some pictures and comments. The park in Gilbert really was pretty cool. They kids got to go on their hike and we didn't have to drive all the way into the mountains. The boys were pretty bummed that we didn't bring the binoculars. I wouldn't recommend fishing at the ponds however. We crossed the little bridge they had and saw about 35 floating dead fish. Not just little fish but big ones almost 2 feet long. Across the way people were fishing, gross. We wondered if all the rain had washed some type of pollutant into the lake and killed the fish. We saw a ton of birds, turtles, and a family of geese the boys really thought was cool. One of the geese not seen in the picture was huge. It was the biggest one I had seen.
It was fun to have the Greers over for individual pizza's on memorial day. Parker had a blast in our sand box. He would scoop a shovelful of dirt dump it then say Ta-Da!! He did this with me about 30 times in a row and Jami said that he kept saying Ta-Da with each scoopful when she was out with him. In the last few gatherings at my house we have busted out with the guitar hero. My mom liked it, Jeff likes it but has a hard time when his pinkie finger doesn't work. Brad and Steph were both rocking out pretty hard on the medium settings, but my dad and Jami aren't big fans. Jami has only tried it 2 or 3 times and decided its not for her and my dad took offense to the fans booing him off the stage. I can now pass songs on the hard level but it is not pretty. We have a lot of fun. I will have a picture of everyone soon. When the Johnson Family comes into town we'll have to have another guitar hero party.
Sunday nights in our house seem to get a little crazy. We made peach smoothies thanks to the Hirst peach tree breaking a branch off. It is clear that our family is a big fan of the smoothie.

It must be the sugar or something but the kids all get rilled up. I was playing with the camera when Dallin put on my old football socks. They were so long he had to take his pants off to wear them, his words not mine. Our kids are not afraid of the camera and began to pose in a variety of ways. Dallin wanted to show off his muscles and McKade needed to practice his funny face.

Playing with my cameras settings I got Tyli and Dallin in the sepia mode.

It is not a very good picture of Tyli but you can see that her hair in the back is now even all the way across. She looks very cute with her little hair cut. So all in all we are making the best of our summer. We were able to BBQ with Glen Adams on Sat. Our kids love to look at their horses, chickens, turkeys, and dogs. It is almost better then the zoo. The favorite part of the night was as we were leaving some fireworks went off, spooked the dogs and they jumped into our van.

The boys start swim lessons with Aunt Jeni tomorrow and are very excited. Hopefully swimming hard will take out a little bit of what seems to be an endless energy supply. It is hard to keep up!
